Opening day for the Downtown Novato Community Farmers’ Market is set for May 7 with a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. It will be at a new location on Sherman Avenue — right in front of City Hall.
The Downtown Novato Farmers’ Market returns every Tuesday through Oct. 29 (4 – 8 p.m.) on Sherman Avenue between Grant and De Long Avenues. A diverse selection of fresh produce from local farmers, prepared and packaged foods will be available for sale.
To help make your visit easier, we’ve created a parking map available at novato.org/farmersmarket. Public parking is available on the streets surrounding Sherman Avenue as well as in the following lots:
- Depot Lot at the Novato Downtown SMART Station
- Whole Foods Garage; Floor 2
- City Administrative Offices Lot at 922 Machin Avenue
- City Administrative Offices Underground Lot at Cain Lane; after 5pm only
Farmers’ Market vendors may park in the Zenk Lot between Sherman and Reichert Avenues from 2pm – 10pm on market days.
The market is hosted by Agricultural Community Events Farmers Markets and the City of Novato.
