Around 0053 hours, a Deputy assigned to Southern Marin was driving along Redwood Highway Frontage Rd in Strawberry, and located a male subject sitting on the curb who appeared under the influence of drugs/alcohol. The Deputy contacted the individual who stated he had narcotics and drug paraphernalia in his possession.
Deputies detained the subject and a search of his person and property yielded suspected fentanyl, suspected liquid methamphetamine, suspected cocaine, suspected crystal methamphetamine, multiple items of drug paraphernalia, and other substances. In the subject’s backpack, which was easily accessible, and unsecured, a knife approximately 16” inches length with an 8” blade was located.
The subject was ultimately arrested for an outstanding Sacramento County warrant, 21310 PC, 647(F) PC, 11350(A) H&S, 11377(A) H&S, 11364(A) H&S.
Upon being booked into the jail, additional suspected methamphetamine was located concealed on his person, a violation of 4573 PC.
