Too Old: On Aug. 30 an old man drove into a post and bent it backwards into a tree on La Cuesta Drive in Greenbrae. The reporting citizen said the old man looked way too old to be behind the wheel of a car.
Spitter: A homeless woman in Strawberry ran up on a Safeway delivery truck, banged on the truck and spit at the driver.
Binford Road: A man in the Binford Road homeless mess was reported “acting crazy.” He appeared to be whacked out on pot, scared citizens said. Police responded with mobile crisis unit. No crime. Just another scary night on Binford Road.
Oh Deer: Citizens reported on Aug. 30 a deer laying on Bear Valley Road, alive by not moving. Fawns were in the area looking on. Humane Society and CHP notified.
Cows: Deputies on July 17 responded to a report of brown and black cows on the roadway in Tomales. Service reported.
Food Truck: On Aug. 30, a concerned Marin do-gooder blew the whistle on a food truck in Santa Venetia, telling police it might start a fire on the dry hillside. No open flame seen, but the caller said there has to be a violation in the set-up somewhere. Service provided.
Cheese Sandwich: Deputies responded to reports of a woman wandering around China Camp stealing stuff, including a cheese sandwich from one campsite. Service provided.
Smelling Pot: A citizen reported smelling pot in Larkspur and San Anselmo. Thinks a lot of drivers in the area are high on weed. Shocker. Service provided.
Naked: A report on July 17 of a nude person wearing only a backpack walking on a trail in Novato was reported to the Sheriff’s Department. Service provided.
Shots: Citizens in Bel Marin Keys heard shots on July 17. Deputies investigated.
MILL VALLEY
Bikes: Three kids on bikes were riding in the skate park on Sycamore Avenue on July 17. A parent of smaller kids asked them to stop and the kids got nasty. Police called. Service provided.
Kids Drinking: A group of kids were walking along Ryan Avenue drinking and not wearing shirts. Neighbors complained. Police talked to the kids and told them to be more considerate to the people around them. Service provided.
