
Use of Local Housing Trust Fund
The Community Development Agency is seeking Board approval to apply for and accept $2,605,263 in housing grant funding from the State of California and for adoption of a resolution to approve allocations worth $4,975,000 from the Marin County Affordable Housing Trust Fund as loans to affordable housing projects. Response to Grand Jury Report on Agriculture
The Marin County Civil Grand Jury released a report June 10 called “Spending Public Money to Preserve Marin’s Agricultural Heritage: Is Anyone Watching?” The Office of the County Executive will request the Board to concur and adopt its required response to the report. The County agreed with one finding and wholly or partially disagreed with seven findings. Five recommendations will not be implemented because they are not warranted or reasonable, and one will be implemented in the future. (Staff report)

Integrated Aging Services Study
No earlier than 1:30 PM: The County works with various stakeholders and agencies to ensure maximum awareness of the needs of local older adults and persons with disabilities. The Integrated Aging Services Study was presented to the Board in February 2023 by staff from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Now, the HHS staff is providing a report and presentation on resulting projects (Staff report).
Sheriff’s Military Equipment Report
No earlier than 2 PM, the Sheriff’s Office plans to present a review of its military equipment in a required report to the Board. State Assembly Bill 481 regulates miiitary-type equipment used by local law enforcement agencies for public safety, and the County has an ordinance to approve the Sheriff’s policy. The policy must be reviewed each year by law. (Staff report)

Maybe Marin county might consider the fact that thay are making the entire anciur out community in Sausalito homeless and spending far to much money to do so has anyone noticed the brand new Chevy trucks down town street team just bought them self I mean is it really necessary to purchase 50000 truck to provide services I have to question what is rely going on??
