Why would a movie that gets a 99 percent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes virtually get ignored by movie critics and the national media?
Because it is so damn good at pricking the sensibilities of the culturally woke elite on the excesses of the DEI movement, it can’t be given any attention for fear people might go see it.
I saw Matt Walsh’s “Am I Racist” political documentary. I can see why “they” don’t want people to see it. Despite that cold shoulder by our cultural betters, it was the 4th highest grossing movie of the weekend, and it sold more tickets in its opening weekend than any other political documentary in 20 years.
Everyone should see it, especially those public officials who have bought into (or forced into) the idea that all governments and big corporations need a DEI czar to eradicate “white privilege” as we know it.
If your local government has a DEI guru selling that premise, you should insist that those DEI classes include showing “Am I Racist.” Walsh lays bare the absurdity that’s at the heart of the DEI movement.
In particularly, there’s a piece in the film featuring a paid interview with Robin DiAngelo, author of White Fragility. That segment is a priceless takedown of the DEI industry.
