Recently Novato’s finest responded to a call for service on the De Long Ave overpass, that initially appeared to be a collision involving three cars. Surprise! No crash in sight.
Turns out, a furry friend was playing hide-and-seek under one of the cars. Luckily, the driver spotted our panicked pouncer and hit the brakes faster than you can say “cat-astrophe!”
Rescuers sweet-talked the scaredy-cat out of its hiding spot, and voilà, the brave little explorer finally found its way back to safety. Thanks to our superhero squad of community members, City of Novato Public Works purr-sonnel, ATA Towing, and our friends at Marin Humane, our whiskered wonder shall cling to all nine lives, but will require a little cast for a broken leg.
Our purr-sistent patient is off for a full health check up to hunt down any sneaky injuries and kickstart a fresh chapter. Hoping for a purr-fect recovery. With the right cat-itude, anything is paw-sible!
