The property at 5800 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard is in a central location that enables better access to key areas of the county and will enhance incident response times. The current headquarters in Woodacre is outdated and more than 100 years old. (Staff report).
Hearing on Marin Catholic High School Field Lights
No earlier than 4:30 PM: (This item was continued from the December 10 meeting.) Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield would like to install a permanent athletic field lighting system and associated wayfinding lighting. In October, the Marin County Planning Commission voted to deny an environmental determination that the archdiocese is exempt from the requirement to prepare an environmental document pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). School representatives appealed the decision. The Community Development Agency recommends that the Board deny the appeal and sustain the Planning Commission’s denial of the CEQA Exemption for the Archdiocese of San Francisco’s Design Review.
