Vivalon (formerly known as Whistlestop), a San Rafael-based nonprofit that advances independence, health and quality of life for older adults and people with disabilities, is pleased to announce the appointments of Brad Kinnish as chief financial officer and Amy Carlson McConnell as chief development officer.
In his role as chief financial officer, Kinnish will be responsible for Vivalon’s financial management, forecasting, reporting, and risk management.
In her role as chief development officer, McConnell will be responsible for leading Vivalon’s development department, including donor cultivation and acquisition.
“This is a time of exceptional growth for Vivalon with the opening of our Healthy Aging Campus earlier this year, so it is essential we have a solid leadership team in place with a high level of expertise, and a strong desire to advance Vivalon’s mission,” said Joe O’Hehir, Vivalon’s interim CEO. “We’re thrilled to welcome Brad and Amy to Vivalon’s executive leadership team.
Their depth of experience and proven track records will be invaluable as we continue to grow and expand our programs and services to better serve our community.”
