Dixon man jailed in Marin after ATM fraud investigation

April 27, 2025 by Marin 2 Comments

On April 14, 2025, an elderly victim reported to Marin Sheriff Deputies that on April 8, 2025, an unknown suspect “assisted” him with a “tap” feature at an ATM in Strawberry, CA. During this incident, the unknown suspect stole the victim’s debit card, and provided the victim with an identical card belonging to another person.

Through investigative leads, Detectives identified the suspect as Kevin Campos Anyosa. On April 17, 2025, with the assistance of the Dixon Police Department, Anyosa was located and arrested for using several victims’ stolen debit/credit cards to make fraudulent ATM withdrawals and purchases at businesses. Campos Anyosa was booked at the Marin County Jail for several fraud and theft related charges, and outstanding warrants from outside jurisdictions.

The Marin County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Dixon Police Department for their assistance with our investigation! Dixon Police Department
