Narcotics Unit Seizes over three pounds of Methamphetamine

On July 16, 2025, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and patrol deputies executed a search warrant in Santa Rosa. David Groth was detained during the search warrant. K9 Duke responded to the location and located methamphetamine in both Groth’s vehicle and apartment. In total, Groth was found to have almost three and a half pounds of methamphetamine. Groth was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale and committing a drug-related offense with two prior drug convictions. Groth was booked into the county jail without bail.
