Dear editor,
The League of Women Voters of Marin County would like to congratulate Lynda Roberts, the Registrar of Voters, and her staff in the Department of Elections on running a transparent, secure and accountable primary election on March 3, 2020. We appreciate the hard work that was required to complete the vote count on time with the staffing challenges presented by the COVID19 Pandemic.
Marin County, along with the rest of our country and world, is dealing with daily uncertainty in the face of the pandemic. Voting access is of great concern to many Americans, so the League of Women Voters of Marin County is grateful that our elections are in such capable hands.
We look forward to supporting the work of the Department of Elections as they deal with the continuing challenges of the COVID19 Pandemic.
