Jack Parnell-Wolfe was one of a handful of homeless advocates who protested in front of Novato City Hall on Monday, Jan. 11. The group set up camp on city ground to protest the treatment of the homeless in Novato.

Cindy Siciliano of the Tiburon Rotary Club brought bagels to the event on Monday. Her club is also exploring raising funds to replace tents that were vandalized.  (See Page A5 for story and  pictures of the vandalism.)

So many people hate the homeless. Why? Because of fear. Fear they are one illness away from setting up a tent themselves. Put your seat belts on. The eviction moratorium will expire and many won’t be able to pay the back rent.

Right on! I stand for this protest and support the homeless! We are all human and deserve to have a roof over our heads, food, fresh clothes, running water and heat.

I don’t like this at all. My former domestic abuser has stalked me before and has no problem with being homeless.

Go by city hall now and look at the mess of broken tents they’ve left behind. If some guy cleans it up hes attacking the homeless. If someone from the city cleans up after them they’re harassing the “unhoused:. Seems like a no win situation.
