Hanna Partovi of Sausalito was a silver medalist in the Congressional Award, a program designed to recognize and promote initiative, service and achievement in young people between the ages of 14 and 23. Rep. Jared Huffman presents Hanna with her recognition in a ceremony last week. In earning her Congressional Award Silver Medal, Hanna volunteered over 200 hours of service to her community serving as a juror and advocate at the Marin County Youth Court Program’s weekly Youth Court hearings. Hanna also prepared meals at St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin and worked with the city of San Francisco to make and donate masks.
