
Jasmine “Kira” Anderson, of Novato, California, passed away on April 12, 2021 at her home with her loving mother at her side.
Kira was born in Greenbrae, California in 1994. She was a competitive cheerleader in junior high school with the Pop Warner Broncos. During her freshman and sophomore years at Novato High School, she was a Varsity Cheerleader. Kira transferred to NOVA Independent Study where she graduated in 2011. Kira worked in a variety of jobs: in retail, as a barista, as a server, and as a bartender. Kira enjoyed life. She loved spending time with all of her friends and family. Kira loved animals and she loved to laugh and have fun. Kira was very giving and generous. Kira enjoyed reaching out to the homeless and usually spent part of her Christmas giving gifts in person to those she met on the streets.
Kira is survived by her parents Sherri Anderson and Mohammad Shirazi; her brothers Christopher and Nicholas, and her sister Christina; her grandmother Sharon; several loving aunts and uncles; many cousins; and other family and friends.
Kira is preceded in death by her sister Kristen, her grandfather Douglas, and her cousin Ana. Kira will be laid to rest at Valley Memorial Park in Novato next to her cousin.
