Although Marin County is not effected per se, any Red Flag warning of the fire season is cause for concern. Therefore, be advised that the National Weather Service issued the first red flag warning of the season today. It begins at 11 p.m. Friday and will last through the weekend. The warning covers the North Bay mountains and hills in the East Bay and interior valleys. With dry offshore winds and warm temperatures forecast for the weekend, the National Weather Service has issued the Bay Area’s first red flag warning of the fire season.
