The Reds used a two run double from Will Chaput, and an RBI single from Sean McGrath to jump out to a 5-0 first inning lead against the Marlins. But Joel Zelda and Liam Kelly shut the Reds down in the middle innings to allow the Marlins to come back to take the lead in the fifth 7-5. Juan Park’s two run double was the big hit. Zade Hubbs and Chase Krause  had two hits for the Marlins as they held on for the win, 10-8. Skye Lake, Will Chaput and Sean McGrath had two hits for the Reds.

The Reds traveled to Vallejo, and quickly fell behind as Vallejo put up four quick runs in the first as Angel Coronado and Chase Studelhetfery had run scoring doubles. Joey Rinaldi settled things down allowing the Reds to tie the game in the third with a two out rally. Vallejo got the lead back in the bottom of the inning, but the Reds answered back with another three runs in the fourth for a lead the Reds would not give up. TJ Beck had three hits, and Tyler Beck and Buddy Nebb had two hits for the Reds as they defeated Vallejo 10-7.

The Reds A’s Sunday game was a back and forth slugfest as the A’s prevailed 13-11. The A’s loaded the bases with one out in the first, but came up empty when TJ Beck threw home to his brother Tyler for an inning ending double play. A Noah Ratto run scoring single and a bases clearing three run double from Jacob Rabb put the A’S into a 4-1 lead after two.  The Reds trailed 5-3 in the bottom of the fifth, but Will Chaput’s long two run double keyed a three run rally to put the Reds on top 6-5. The combo of Ratto and Rabb again combined to lead a four run A’s fifth as they took the lead back at 9-6. Things were just getting started. The Reds put up five runs in the top of the sixth as Will Chaput had his second two run double, and Hayden Devol, Jack Osberg and Buddy Nebb had run scoring singles, and the Reds now led 11-9. But the A’s were not done. One out singles from Dari Liuzzi and Jason Gillem started yet another A’s rally. MJ Keenan drew a walk to load the bases for the top of the A’s order. Noah Ratto stayed hot, and drove a two run double to right to tie the game at 11-11. Liam Bruchler put the A’s on top to stay with another two run double, and the A’s had a hard earned 13-11 victory. Jacob Rabb drove in five, and Noah Ratto finished with four hits and three RBIs. Angelo Moresco also had three RBIs for the A’s. TJ Beck again led the Reds offense with three hits, and Will Chaput had his best day with four RBIs.
