Stay at home orders in California were eased over the weekend with Gov. Gavin Newsom announcing he will now allow in-person religious services and political protests to take place in the state. The loosening of the restrictions is contingent upon individual county health rules, however.
Marin and most of the Bay Area remains remain under the existing and tighter restrictions.
The new state guidelines stipulate that religious attendance must be limited to 25 percent capacity of the building or a maximum of 100 people, whichever is lower.
In-store retail shopping is now allowed but, again, not in Marin yet.
