From the City of Novato:
On Wednesday, October 13 beginning at 8pm, temporary lane closures and traffic controls will be in place at the following intersections:
- Grant Avenue & Machin Avenue
- Grant Avenue & Reichert Avenue
The City of Novato is installing swing gates at these two locations for special event street closures.
Work will be completed one intersection at a time to allow continued access to Grant Avenue businesses, residences, and parking. Temporary detours will be in place.

Who is paying for the new gates to be installed. Hopefully it’s not the taxpayers, if it is all I can say is that money should have been spent on fixing the many pot holes on our street.
