Dr. Elizabeth Hrevitz on Marin’s mental health inequities

The Outdoor Art Club on Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. will host Dr. Elizabeth Hrevitz talking about mental Health and the COVID-19 pandemic. She is the Chief Behavioral Health Officer at Marin Community Clinics and will discuss how the intersection of income inequality, health disparities, and the COVID-19 pandemic has created a disproportionate toll on the mental health of Marin’s Latinx immigrant community. She will share stories of risk and resilience, and outline a path forward for eliminating Marin’s pervasive health and mental health inequities that were laid bare by the pandemic.
