After the high school rivalry varsity football game between San Marin and Novato high schools on Friday, Oct. 15, a student, who displayed gang signs, assaulted a school administrator. The student escaped into the night.
The following Monday, Novato Police were on campus and handcuffed the suspect student. The student, who had a knife, resisted and slightly injured one of the officers on scene. The student was safely booked into the Marin County Juvenile Hall.
