Marin County hit an important benchmark last week.
For the first time in four months, no one was in a Marin County hospital with COVID-19.
It’s an “important benchmark,” said Dr.Matt Willis, the county’s public health officer.
Things took a turn for the worse, however, when Dr. Willis told the Marin County Board of Supervisors that COVID was on the rise again. At the beginning of year, 5-11 year olds accounted for less than 5% of cases, now they account for about 30% of cases.
