Students in the Alonzo King LINES Ballet/BFA in Dance program at Dominican University of California will present two BFA Fall Showcase performances on campus in Angelico Concert Hall at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, and 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13.
The performances will feature the works of Sidra Bell, the first African-American woman to choreograph a work for the New York City Ballet. She is creating a piece for senior class members of the BFA in Dance program.
The in-person performances also will include the works of choreographers Gregory Dawson, Dexandro Montalvo, and Carmen Rozestraten.
General admission is $10 (cash only). Reservations are required.
