January 10, 2022 by Marin Leave a Comment

Mary Jane Burke

Mary Jane Burke, who has led Marin schools through the pandemic, announced last week that she will not run for re-election to the post she has held since 1995.

Burke, 69, of Novato told the Independent Journal that she is “not retiring” but does not have another position at this point.

Her term as Marin County superintendent of schools ends at the end of this year.
