Margaret Dougan services scheduled

Margaret E. Dougan Bell, Tam Class of 1966, died May 12. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday July 31, at 1 p.m. at American Legion Log Cabin, 20 Veterans Place, San Anselmo.

Margie Dougan grew up in Bolinas, with her parents, James and June, and older sister, Maureen. Her father, Jimmy, owned the Bolinas Garage from 1947 to 1960 and then became an insurance broker. She was in kindergarten during the year that Stinson and Bolinas kids were both in Mrs. Pfeffercorn’s class at the Druids’ Hall and in fifth grade when the merger of the two schools became permanent. She was skipped ahead from 6th to 7th grade, graduating from Bolinas School in 1962 and from Tam High in 1966.
