Violence struck again in Marin City Sunday night. Residents in the Cole Drive area in the Golden Gate Village neighborhood said they heard shots at just after 10 a.m. When Marin Sheriff’s Deputies arrived, about 30 seconds after the first 911 call, they found a bullet-ridden car and one man dead. Two others – a woman and a man – were injured.

No arrests were made, but deputies said that a “person of interest” is on law enforcement’s radar.

The dead body at the scene was identified as Michael Arthur Rogers II, 42, of Oakland.
