Music history

Call it nostalgia, history or both, the Novato City Hall was filled last week with pictures and stories of Marin’s famed music scene. The Novato Historical Guild’s monthly “Speaker Series” featured famed music photographer and author of “The Music Never Stopped,” Bob Minkin. Above, Minkin gives his presentation with a slide of the Grateful Dead in performance as a backdrop. At right, he autographs a photobook for Mary Bicksell of Novato.
