The Novato Unified School District board elected Debbie Butler as president and Julie Jacobson as vicepPresident/clerk at its Dec. 13, meeting.
Butler has been on the board since 2006 and has previously served as president. Jacobson has been on the board since 2020.
Newly elected board member, Abbey Picus, was named as trustee representative to the Marin County School Boards Association.
The Board welcomed newly elected board member, Magali Limeta, and re elected board member, Diane Gasson.
The Novato Unified School District thanked outgoing Board members Derek Knell and Maria Aguila for their service. Knell served on the NUSD Board of Trustees for 17 years and Maria Aguila for 13 years.
