Sausalito girl, 10, reports molestation by her Tae Kwon Do instructor; arrest made and police suspect more victims are out there

Sausalito Police arrested a Tae Kwon Do instructor Sunday after he admitted to criminal sexual activity with a student, a 10-year-old girl.

Joshua Boyes, 35, is in the Marin County Jail. Bail is set at $100,000.

The victim’s mother reported the crime Friday (March 3).  After Boyes was questioned on Sunday (March 5), police arrested him and booked him for two felony charges: Lewd Acts with a Minor Child and Oral Copulation with a Minor Child. 

The victim reported the incident happened Wednesday (March 1) at a Sausalito city-owned facility in the 400 block of Litho Street. Boyes is a contractor hired by the City of Sausalito to teach Tae Kwon Do at the facility. 

“We are concerned there could be more victims,” said Sausalito Police Chief Stacie Gregory. “If any other family has evidence that their child also may have had inappropriate contact with
