Rotary scholarships for Marin students are now up for the taking

The Rotary Club of Ignacio is offering three different scholarships for Marin graduating high school seniors and college students for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. The Club will be offering several one-year $500-$2,000 Novato high school graduating senior general scholarships, six collegiate and/or Marin high school graduating senior one-year $1,500. STEM Field or Trade School scholarships, and one single-year collegiate or graduating high school senior $2,500 Presidential STEM Scholarship. 

If you planning to attend a university, community college, or vocational school in California to study for a career in the trades, vocational or a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math), or general studies, then you should apply for one of several scholarships.  

Applications are due April 9, and can be found at RotaryClubofIgnacio.org. under the scholarship tab. 

Scholarships available:

Six Rotary Club of Ignacio Scholarships:  $500-$2,000 each available to graduating seniors from Novato High School, Marin Oaks High School, or Nova for college/university studies in California this fall.

Nine Rotary Club of Ignacio Scholarships:  $1,500 each will be awarded to College of Marin and/or graduating high school seniors in Marin applying for college/university studies in California in one of the STEM Field studies or Trade Schools.

-One  Rotary Club of Ignacio Presidential Scholarship:  $2,500 for a Novato High School, Marin Oaks High School, or Nova graduating high school student or College of Marin student attending a College/University in California in one of the STEM field studies. Emphasis will be on community involvement as well as academics.

“We are pleased to accept applications for these scholarships ASAP,” Club Scholarship Chair Dr. Melissa Rinck said. “We would love to see deserving Marin County graduating high school students and college students take advantage of these scholarships.”
