Marin 911: Sick, mangy and blind coyote evades escape in downtown Sausalito

MILL VALLEY

Bus: A live-aboard bus was reported blocking Eldridge Avenue. Bus was gone when police arrived.

Gas Blower: A maintenance man at the golf course was observed using a gas-powered leaf blower. Gone when the police arrived.

Sex Assault: A student told her teacher she was sexually assaulted. The teacher reported it to police, who are investigating. 

Rx Fight: Two old men, one with a cane, got in a physical fight while in line at a pharmacy on Blithedale. One man left before police arrived. The other man did not pursue charges.

Party Time: Mill Valley’s finest responded to several calls about loud parties in May. All toned it down when police arrived.

Homeless: A person camping out on property on Hamilton Road was given notice to move along. Person refused county services.

SAUSALITO

Stealing Gas: Police discovered siphon equipment next to a Parks vehicle on Litho Street. Looked like someone was trying to steal gasoline.

Bambi: A fawn was hit and killed on Bridgeway on May 11.

Public Sleepers: Two people were reported sleeping on the street. Police made contact and explained city rules on public sleeping/camping. The duo said “adios” as they are on their way to Oregon. 

Gone: A man left a woman on Gordon Street. It resulted in a lot of yelling and the woman throwing the man’s clothes all over the street. Police responded. Nothing physical, just yelling. Man left the scene.

Sick Coyote: A citizen reporting seeing a “mangy” coyote running around in the Olima Street area. Caller said it appeared “sick or blind.” Police kept an eye out, but not seen again.

Gas Power: A citizen called the cops on a landscaper who every Wednesday uses banned gas-powered tools to do his job. Police did not observe law breaking, but advised the landscaper of city laws. 

Cell Phone: A good citizen found a cell phone of Bridgeway on May 10 and returned it to the owner via the “finder” app on the phone.
