Isabel Allende, world’s most popular Spanish language author, to speak at Dominican

The world’s best read Spanish language novelist Isabel Allende, above,  will appear in person at Angelico Concert Hall on the Dominican University of California campus.

New York Times bestselling novelist Isabel Allende will appear in person at Angelico Concert Hall on the Dominican University of California campus at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, in the Spring 2023 Leadership Lecture Series presented by Dominican in partnership with Book Passage.

She will appear onstage in conversation with Salvadoran-American poet and activist Javier Zamora.

Tickets are $40 and include a copy of her new book “The Wind Knows My Name.” For more information, call Book Passage at (415) 927-0960 ext. 1.

Considered the world’s most-read Spanish language author, Allende’s books have been translated into more than 42 languages and have sold more than 74 million copies worldwide.
