Climate priorities of Marin’s two newest county supervisors

July 3, 2023 by Marin Leave a Comment

Engage the newest members of Marin’s Board of Supervisors in a lively conversation of the most important actions our Country can take to reduce the causes of climate change and address its impacts.

Mary Sackett represents District 1 (San Rafael) after serving the district for years as aide to former Supervisor Damon Connolly. “We must make every effort to mitigate climate impacts, reduce greenhouse gas, sequester carbon, promote electrification, and reduce traffic,” she says, while also creating housing.

Eric Lucan represents District 5 (Novato) after serving on the Novato City Council since 2011, including three years as Mayor. He is a longtime advocate of climate-conscious mobility, now Chair of SMART and Vice-Chair of TAM, and formerly Chief Marketing Officer at Mike’s Bikes.

Sustainable San Rafael President Bill Carney will facilitate the conversation.
