Marin 911: ‘Crazy Barbie’ yelling her head off in Mill Valley

MILL VALLEY

Barbie: A 40-ish woman stood on Madrona Street dressed in a “bright pink dress” and yelled at people like a crazy person. Gone when the police arrived.Van: Police checked out a van parked on Buena Vista Avenue that citizens nearby thought was being used to sleep. Police found it unoccupied.

Bad Deal: Three Arab speaking men on Miller Avenue appeared to be arguing about a drug deal “gone wrong,” according to a citizen caller. Police checked it out. Three Uber drivers in conversation. 

Prius Driver: A woman in a crosswalk on Miller Avenue reported that she was almost hit by a teal Prius. The driver was a 60-ish woman.

Welfare Checks: Police made several welfare checks on residents at the request of concerned relatives in this cop log’s time frame.

Homeless Yeller: A 70-ish homeless woman sitting in a shopping cart was yelling uncontrollably at people on Throckmorton Avenue on Aug. 20. Police called to assist. 

Return Camper: A homeless woman who was removed from her camping spot on Olive Avenue a week earlier has returned and is now blocking the sidewalk with a tarp. Police visited her again to help.

Insane: A man wearing a canvas bag was throwing traffic cones on Throckmorton Avenue on Aug. 20. A citizen told police that Canvas Bag Man yelled that he was “insane.” He walked through a side gate and people lost track of the man. Police alerted.

Returned: A homeless man has returned to the Lovell Avenue area, camping out. Residents have told the police that their children are frightened to walk by him. Police have engaged the man again, trying to help.
