Sausalito Lighted Boat Parade fast approaching

Winterfest Sausalito is seeking boats of all shapes and sizes to participate in the 36th Annual Lighted Boat Parade along the Sausalito waterfront on the evening of Saturday, Dec. 9.If you are a fun-loving and creative boat owner, please sign up to be a part of this magical event, which is followed by fireworks over Richardson Bay.The boats in the parade will get underway at 6 p.m. on Dec. 9 from a starting point near the tall ship Matthew Turner, continue along the Sausalito shoreline to the south end of town, then loop back to the waters off Gabrielson Park for the fireworks.The boat parade and fireworks are sponsored by the Sausalito on the Waterfront Foundation, along with local residents and merchants.Additional Winterfest Sausalito events include the Captain’s After Party on Saturday night and the Jingle Bell 5K and brunch on Sunday morning. Tickets for special boat parade seating, the party, the 5K, and brunch may be purchased via the Winterfest website.
