Marin roads rated: Good in Larkspur; not so much in Fairfax

The Metropolitan Transportation Commission ranks roads in Marin and the Bay Area every year. This year, kudos went out to Larkspur’s roads, which vastly improved from a “poor” rating in 2017 to “very good” mark in 2022. 

However, as a whole Marin County roads only rated “fair” in the MTC report.Ross, Tiburon, Mill Valley and Belvedere were rated “good” in the rating and San Anselmo, Corte Madera, Novato, San Rafael and unincorporated Marin were labeled only “fair.” Coming up the rear in the road rating system were Sausalito and Fairfax. The roads in those towns were called “at risk.”
