A newly formed political action committee is hosting a potential-candidate session to find people interested in running for Fairfax Town Council.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, at the Coffee Roastery in Fairfax.
The group MarinResidents.org put out the notice on social media, saying: “Think you would be good on the Town Council? Many residents of Fairfax care deeply about this Town, but only some have the time and patience to run for a position. The MarinResidents.org wants to make it easy to find and support the ones that will prioritize needs of the Town to the benefit all of its residents! … We request that you RSVP to info@marinresidents.org and let us (know) you’ll attend.”
With all the issues facing the town of Fairfax we need to remove the 3 incumbents up for reelection in Nov 2024 and replace them with commonsense people that want to get NON ideological stuff done. NO more pet projects like Rent Control! NO more bad decisions like 175 units at School Street Plaza with NO parking! Space is limited, RSVP at info@marinresidents.org.
