Sausalito’s ‘Souper Bowl’ is back

January 6, 2024 by Marin Leave a Comment

The City of Sausalito’s official website reports:

As in past years, the 2024 event will take ticket holders on a tour of downtown and Caledonia Street restaurants to find out who makes the best soup in town.

Barrel House Tavern took the top prize in 2023 for its spiced coconut butternut squash soup with toasted pepitas, Calabrian chili oil, and micro greens.

This year’s event will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. on Feb. 10. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased in advance via the Sausalito Parks and Recreation registration portal.

Same-day tickets will be available from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at the Sausalito Ferry Landing, pending availability.

Each ticket enables participants to visit all participating restaurants, taste soup, and vote for a winner. Local businesses will also be offering discounts, specials, and freebies.

Any questions about the Souper Bowl can be directed to the Parks and Recreation Department at recreation@sausalito.gov or (415) 289-4152.
