Marin 911: Multiple ‘Smash ‘n Grab’ car burglaries

SAUSALITO

Safe Taken: A safe was reported stolen from a business on Bridgeway. Service provided.

Smash ‘n Grab: On Jan. 4, a Nissan van’s window was smashed and tools taken from inside the vehicle. 

Dumped Wallet: A woman’s wallet was found in a pile of trash and the end of the ramp off of Rodeo Avenue. Credit cards were recovered by police who will sort it out.

Smash ‘n Grab: Two cars on Olima Street were broken into. Police notified.

No Rent Payment: A landlord on Pine Street asked for help on what to do with a tenant who refuses to pay rent. Service provided. 

Smash ‘n Grab: The back window of a car on South Street was smashed and reported burglarized. Service provided. 

Loud & Angry: A homeless man putting his bed together in a parking lot on Bridgeway became aggressive and yelled at a citizen. Police called and stopped the vagabond from setting up camp and advised him to “quiet down”. Service provided. 

Yellow Hair: An old man with long yellow hair and a purple backpack set camp on Cloud View Road. Man contacted by police and will break camp. Service provided.
