Novato Police Chief Matt McCaffrey complimented protesters who gathered last week in Novato. The protest of the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis was orderly and peaceful.
The chief said:
“Yesterday’s peaceful protest was nothing short of inspiring, courageous and honorable. We could not have asked for a more positive outcome. Awareness was raised, voices were heard and NPD walked WITH the community, demonstrating that change IS possible.”
