Fairfax Town Picnic looks for sponsors

The Fairfax Parks and Recreation Commission is hosting Fairfax’s annual Town Picnic on Sept. 21 from 12 – 5 p.m. at the Contratti Ball Field.

Park & Rec is looking for local business sponsorships. This free town event drew in more than 500 attendees last year and most stayed all afternoon. The planned activities are local music, a reptile show, a puppet show, face painting, a bounce house/obstacle course and other kid activities.

Specific needs:

• Donation to replace tent canopy $1000 (10 tents)
• Volunteers to help with the bounce house and kid activities (2 ppl/hr)
