Approximately 40 demonstrators showed up for the Juneteenth rally last Friday. It took place at Novato City Hall and included Marin County District Attorney and Novato resident Laurie Frugoli (left). Juneteenth is celebrated on Jun 19 to mark the end of slavery in the United States.
