Dear editor,
My campaign was a success! The winners in our Fairfax race are Bruce Ackerman, Chance Cutrano and I. I am thankful for all my many supporters, volunteers, contributors, well-wishers and great endorsements!
Throughout the campaign, I’m so grateful I received the support of so many local leaders, Fairfaxians, friends, family and all those who helped me during the process – by posting campaign signs, donating, endorsing, volunteering and offering kind words. I am so proud of my endorsements from Supervisor Katie Rice, Assemblymember Marc Levine, the California and Marin Democratic Party, the North Bay Labor Council, the Sierra Club, the Marin Women’s PAC, Mayor Renee Goddard, many present & past Fairfax Councilmembers and so many others. I’m especially proud to have the endorsement of the Marin and Ross Valley Firefighters and the Fairfax Police Officer’s Association – these are the folks that run towards danger and keep us safe!
Special thanks to Mimi Newton my artist, BFF and Facebook booster, Jen Hammond who set-up my Facebook (again!), Cindy Swift who helped me place/pick-up signs (and listened to my travails on our many walks), my two Treasurers, Janet Garvin and Marcia Custer, and so many more!
I am honored and humbled by all the support and votes! I look forward to another 4 years serving the people of Fairfax!
