Frank Gomez and his wife Kazu have been an incredible presence in our town since they purchased Sunglass city in 2008. Frank has always been generous with all possible events and fundraising, fully committed to our town businesses, merchants and residents well being. Since 2020, Frank has worked with the Chamber and the Town to support our Live on the Ave summer program.

Frank Gomez purchased Sunglass City in downtown San Anselmo in 2008. In 2009 Frank bought Michael Quinn Opticians in downtown Mill Valley with his partner Quynh Nguyen. Frank and Quynh launched a new brand Wink Optics and have transformed the businesses into a full service eyewear boutique. Wink Optics offers eye exams by Dr. Nina Margolis and collections of hand-crafted frames, many of which are available exclusively in Marin County, as well as the latest technology in lenses, coating and treatments. With Frank’s mission for Wink Optics to make your eyewear experience transformational, not transactional, Frank and his team strive to provide only the highest quality and customized service for every client.
Frank feels strongly about giving back to the community. He currently serves on DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee), EDC (Economic Development Committee), and Chamber of Commerce Merchants’ Ambassador.
Frank lives with his wife Kazu, his daughters Natori and Miya, and his four legged baby Pochi. He also has an older daughter Devan who lives in San Diego. Frank loves his town and his community of San Anselmo.
