San Rafael City Schools Superintendent Jim Hogeboom appointed Kristina Hopkins, left, as principal at San Pedro Elementary School in San Rafael. The appointment begins July 1.
Hopkins, 36, was an instructional coach at Voices College-Bound Language Academy in Pinole.
“Ms. Hopkins rose to the top due to her experience working as an educator with communities of rich culture and linguistic diversity,” Hogeboom said.
