Officer Martinez recently completed her training program at NPD and is officially riding solo!
She grew up in San Rafael, CA and attended San Rafael High School. Officer Martinez later earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice studies from College of Marin.
Prior to working for NPD, Officer Martinez worked in the Healthcare industry with a variety of people who had different intellectual disabilities. She is super excited to help create a safer community and be a role model for other women who aspire to be in policing. She is a first-generation Latina in law enforcement in her family and hopes to continue the legacy with her own family. If you see her around town, be sure to say hello!
