The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) presented Novato Sanitary District with a Platinum8 Peak Performance Award in a live presentation ceremony recorded in Washington, D.C. This annual award is presented to honorees who have achieved
eight consecutive years of excellence in wastewater treatment operational performance and permit compliance.
District General Manager-Chief Engineer Sandeep Karkal noted that “there are nearly 15,000 wastewater treatment plants in the country and only about 150 earn the award.
