President Joe Biden will speak to the Democratic National Convention tonight. All will try to put a happy face on the event. But history will record it differently. He was pushed out of the race unwillingly and replaced with his own No. 2 without a single primary vote.
And now he has to speak (at a Monday time slot, no less) to the party that stabbed him in the back.
Mr. Biden will leave the convention and not be in the hall when Kamala Harris accepts the nomination.
Humiliating doesn’t begin to describe it.
