Sonoma County tapped the brakes on reopening this week as the county began seeing a rise in coronavirus cases.
The county was an early adopter of reopening. Now it’s the first to backtrack on reopening.
In the last two weeks, Sonoma County’s case rate doubled. Dr. Sundari Mase reported “a few more” hospitalization this week have public heath officials worried enough to dial back the reopening process.
