The Marin County Sheriff’s Office welcomes our newest addition, K9 Kodak! This 1.5 year old lab is our Departments first K9 assigned as a Custody narcotics detection dog. While we have had numerous K9s in the past, Kodak will be assigned to the Marin County Jail. Kodak will be working with K9 handler Deputy V Kruzona.
Everyone is wagging their tails with excitement about Kodak joining our team.
Stay tuned for another update about another Marin County K9…
Kodak is beautiful and I’m glad she’s found her calling.
I’m just a little concerned about why drug sniffing dogs are needed within the jail.
Deputies are supposed to make sure drugs don’t come in, in the first place.
If Kodak has a job, it means someone isn’t doing the job they’re being paid for and (duh!) they’re probably making quite a bit on the side by NOT busting people BEFORE they enter the jail.
“SMH” as the kids call it!
