On 12/10/2024 at approximately 0105 hours, Deputies contacted a vehicle parked in the area of 600 Redwood Highway Frontage Rd, Strawberry.

Upon contacting the car, Deputies located a female inside who appeared to be ingesting narcotics. While speaking with the female, her boyfriend arrived to the vehicle from a nearby store.

Deputies searched the car and located suspected narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded pistol.

Additionally, Deputies located a unserialized AR 15 style rifle with multiple magazines and ammo.

In the car was a large volume of miscellaneous jewelry, but it is currently unknown if it is related to any criminal activity. Deputies are continuing to investigate this and have taken jewelry items for safekeeping until determined if they are connected to a crime.

The female was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia and the male was transported to the Marin County Jail for multiple firearm charges.
